Jill is a great account manager because of her engineering education, problem solving know-how, innovative mindset and strong passion, in her words, “to create ecstatic customers and exceed their expectations.”
On a practical level, she does this by always first listening to clients. What are their needs? What can we do to best serve them? Then she puts a lot of up-front thinking, effort and time into creating the very best strategies and solutions for the client before taking the first step toward implementation.
If any problems or nagging issues arise during implementation, Jill is right there to connect the appropriate BMGI resources with the client team. Her rare value shines through as she facilitates unique solutions in many different situations.
“What’s so great about being at BMGI is that I’m no longer tied to just one field or one industry,” Jill says. “I get to apply my skills to all fields and different cultures and mindsets.”
Otherwise, when work isn’t involved, Jill is doing something outdoors. Walking the dog. Watching her kids at sporting events. Skiing in the winter. She even likes shoveling snow!
In the summer, Jill plays softball and is the general manager of two softball teams. One is an all-women’s team and the other is a co-ed team called the One Hit Wonders, which took second place in its league two years in a row (see picture).
Jill lives in Amherst, N.Y., with her husband, two teenagers (boy and girl) and dog, Dexter Mead, a black Labrador mix who’s “sweet and dumb and very affectionate.”
Jill has more than 10 years of experience with business transformation efforts. A certified Lean Six Sigma black belt, she has held leadership positions at BMGI in training, eLearning, program certification and curriculum development. In her current role, she partners with clients on their transformation efforts to ensure they meet—and exceed—their program goals. Jill holds a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering from the State University of New York at Buffalo.
